The great lesson by the hawk

The average lifespan of a hawk is 70 years. But if they want to live that long, they will have to make some tough decisions. By the age of 40, the sharp claws that used to hold prey have grown and become bent and unyielding. Beaks, sharper than knives, bend into their own bodies and sink, and the wings that gave them the horsepower to fly become too thick to support the weight and cling to the chest, losing the ability to fly and spread their wings. The kingbird has only one way to escape from this imminent death.

A painful transition. For that, he will fly to his nest on the cliff. Then the beaks will be removed with excruciating pain by constantly rubbing and banging on the rock. Until new beaks sprout, he waits being unable to eat. In the next step, the claws are plucked out with his beaks, and when the new claws grow, the old wings are plucked off. And then a rebirth after 5 months of painful days… and then the ascension to live another 30 years of perfect health.
